Electrolytic galvanized steel for metal stamping parts Electrolytic galvanized steel is a cold-rolled steel with the above three types of cold-rolled steel plates as the base material and after surface treatment such as electrolytic galvanizing. Its chemical composition and mechanical properties are the same as the above-mentioned Cold-rolled steel is similar: SECC Cold-rolled electrolytic plate (Steel Electrolytic Cold Commercial). SECD Cold-rolled deep-drawn electrolytic plate (Steel Electrolytic Cold Deep Drawn). SECE Steel Electrolytic Cold Deep Drawn Extra.
In the metal stamping parts, some parts are sprayed or painted on the surface after stamping from steel plate. Such products can reach 1000 hours in a neutral salt spray test, but in actual use, the corrosion resistance of such products is very poor, because these products mainly rely on the coverage of organic films to achieve rust prevention. Once the coating is damaged , the base metal corrodes quickly. In actual use, especially during the installation process, it is unavoidable to bump the cover layer on the surface, especially at the edges and corners, and the organic cover layer is particularly thin due to the edge effect in these parts. It is recommended to use a galvanized layer as a pre-treatment for spraying, so that even if the organic coating is damaged, there is still a galvanized protective layer inside.
